JOIN BUDDIES

 

Anyone can participate in Buddies activities and make a difference to the lives of asylum seekers and refugees.

 

• Subscribe to receive a weekly e-newsletter to keep you informed of the latest news, statistics and events regarding refugees and asylum seekers.

 

• Attend our informative meetings held on the 4th Sunday of each month from 11am to approximately 1pm, at  University of the Sunshine Coast (USC), BUILDING E, ROOM 14.  See Map Here.   Hear from expert guest speakers such as refugees, host families, refugee advocates and other support workers. Meet like-minded community members in a friendly and social environment over coffee and finger food afterwards.

 

• Support community events that aim to increase awareness, foster relationships and links, and raise funds to assist asylum seekers and refugees. Events include picnics, movie nights and concerts.

 

• Become a member.

 

There are many ways you can become involved with Buddies and we welcome all newcomers.
